VERONA CLASSIC through-the-wall mailbox with an audio intercom adapter, LARGE CAPACITY

Through-the-wall VERONA CLASSIC LARGE CAPACITY postbox with one letter slot (double storage capacity) and one pushbutton.

The mailbox serves as the outdoor station of the door entry intercom. Front plate is fitted with an analog audio door phone adapter for 4+N and 5+N wire systems. 

Offers front mail delivery and rear retrieval. Stores A4 sized mail.

The mailbox offers twice mail storage capacity compared to a regular VERONA CLASSIC mailbox. Special EXTRA LARGE CAPACITY mail chute is twice the height of a classic VERONA mail chute. Both front and back plates are sized at 290 x 240 mm.

Designed to be fitted through a wall or pillar.

Adjustable mail chute depth allows the mailbox to be installed in walls of various thickness.

Integrated audio door entry intercom (door phone) adapter

We designed the VERONA mailbox to serve as the outdoor caller unit of a door entry audio system.

The front panel is fitted with a pushbutton and a universal analog audio door phone adapter (with a microphone and loudspeaker), which together replace the traditional door entry caller station.

What else do you need to create a complete audion door entry intercom system?

» Standard analog door entry intercom

The intercom adapter of the VERONA mailbox is compatible and works directly with all standard analog 4+N wire and 5+N wire door phone systems, e.g. Urmet.

To build a complete 5+N audio door entry kit you need to buy the following items separately:

• an analog amplifier & power supply for 4+N / 5+N wire system - e.g. Urmet 18A2, Elfon EWD-10/20
• one or more analog audio indoor station for 4+N / 5+N wire system - e.g. Urmet Signo 1140/1
• (optionally) an electric strike with appropriate mounting accessories

What type of installation does a standard analog door entry intercom require?

For a one-family house, the typical analog 5+N wire system described above requires an 8-wire cable at minimum.

Please note that extra wires are needed if you plan to use additional functions, e.g. open a second gate.

Materials used:

Bomap mailboxes are made with highest-quality materials and are weather and vandal resistant.

Materials used in the "stainless steel" finish:

• front and back plate: 2 mm thick brushed stainless steel
• letter flap: 0,8 mm thick brushed stainless steel

Materials used in the "powder coated" finish:

• front and back plate: 2 mm thick stainless steel, powder coated
• letter flap: aluminium, powder coated

Mail chute options

Adjustable two-part telescopic mail chute in the VERONA mailbox is 270 mm wide.

The mail chute fits walls that are 28-41 cm thick.

The mail chute has a slight incline and is made from zinc-plated powder-coated steel. 

Please note: there's no stainless steel mail chute option for this mailbox.

Please note: this double capacity mailbox cannot be manufactured to fit walls other than 28-41 cm thick.

Available finish options

There are two main front and back plate finishes available: brushed stainless steel or stainless steel powder coated in a colour of your choice.

We offer a selection of RAL colors in our standard colour palette:

• RAL7024 graphite grey (fine textured, matte)
• RAL7016 anthracite grey (fine textured, matte)
• RAL9005 black (fine textured, matte)
• RAL9007 pearl grey (smooth finish)
• diamond anthracite grey (~DB703, with a diamond fine texture finish, matte)
• RAL9016 white (smooth finish)
• Quartz 2 sandy diamond (with a diamond fine texture finish, matte)
• Oxide 5 champagne diamond (with a diamond fine texture finish, matte)
• RAL1036 pearl gold (smooth finish)

You can also choose a different colour from the RAL palette to match your house colour scheme. This option is available at a surcharge. Select "non-standard RAL colour" from the "Front and back plate finish" options. Then during the checkout process input your preferred RAL colour number into a box marked "Additional information". You can also email us with the colour details.

Please not that order completion date may vary depending on the colour - production time may be longer if a non-standard colour is chosen.

Optional features

• on request the lock can be situated on the right side of the door (door opens to the left) - at no extra charge

  Unless specified otherwise, postboxes are sent at random with or without the name display strip.
