MAILBOX INTERCOM SET: through-the-wall VERONA LOW mailbox with a complete analog Miwi-Urmet door entry intercom and a bespoke inscription

What type of installation is required for this intercom?

A typical analog 5+N wire system for this intercom set requires an 8-wire cable (if you only plan to open one gate) or a 10-wire cable (if you want to open two gates, e.g. a pedestrian gate and an automatic gate).

2 extra wires are needed to connect the LED inscription backlight with the 12VDC power supply.

BESPOKE INSCRIPTION ON THE MAILBOX

We will personalize the front plate of your mailbox with a laser-cut inscription of your choice: a house number, street name, company name or logo.

The cut-out inscription is protected from moisture by a white semi-opaque 3D insert.

The text on the mailbox can be backlit with LED strip lights. Available LED colours: warm white, cool white, blue, green, and red. Please contact us about LED backlight details when you order.

Please note that LED lights need to be connected to the 12VDC power supply.

The LED lights are constantly switched on as a default. On request the mailbox can be fitted with e.g. a twilight switch or a dimmer. Extra charge applies. See: related products.

We will email you a draft project of your mailbox custom front plate lettering design. You can email us back with any alterations, so that the final version meets your every demand. We will not process the order until we have received a response from you, approving the final front plate lettering design.

The manufacturing time on custom orders of personalized mailboxes is usually between 4 and 7 weeks. The lead time begins when you approve the final design of front plate lettering.

Through-the-wall VERONA LOW postbox with one letter slot and one pushbutton.

The mailbox serves as the outdoor station of the door entry intercom. Front plate is fitted with an analog audio door phone adapter for 4+N and 5+N wire systems. 

Offers front mail delivery and rear retrieval. Stores A4 sized mail.

Designed to be fitted through a wall or pillar.

Adjustable mail chute depth (with several mail chute options available) allows the mailbox to be installed in walls of various thickness.

Made in the EU.

Materials used:

Bomap mailboxes are made with highest-quality materials and are weather and vandal resistant.

Materials used in the "stainless steel" finish:

• front and back plate: 2 mm thick brushed stainless steel
• letter flap: 0,8 mm thick brushed stainless steel

Materials used in the "powder coated" finish:

• front and back plate: 2 mm thick stainless steel, powder coated
• letter flap: aluminium, powder coated

Mail chute options

Adjustable two-part telescopic mail chute in the VERONA mailbox is 270 mm wide.

Mail chute type used in the mailbox depends on the wall thickness:

• wall thickness 28-60 cm - mail chute has a slight incline
• wall thickness 19-27 cm - mail chute has a large incline, necessary to make storing A4 sized mail possible despite the wall being thin.

Mail chutes are made from zinc-plated powder-coated steel (standard version) or from stainless steel (premium version). 

VERONA mailbox features

• Mailbox design: front plate, back plate and a two-part telescopic mail chute to be embedded in the wall.

• Door fitted with clear PVC peepholes that allow you to check for mail at a glance.

Available finish options

There are two main front and back plate finishes available: brushed stainless steel or stainless steel powder coated in a colour of your choice.

We offer a selection of RAL colors in our standard colour palette:

• RAL7024 graphite grey (fine textured, matte)
• RAL7016 anthracite grey (fine textured, matte)
• RAL9005 black (fine textured, matte)
• RAL9007 pearl grey (smooth finish)
• diamond anthracite grey (~DB703, with a diamond fine texture finish, matte)
• RAL9016 white (smooth finish)
• Quartz 2 sandy diamond (with a diamond fine texture finish, matte)
• Oxide 5 champagne diamond (with a diamond fine texture finish, matte)
• RAL1036 pearl gold (smooth finish)

You can also choose a different colour from the RAL palette to match your house colour scheme. This option is available at a surcharge. Select "non-standard RAL colour" from the "Front and back plate finish" options. Then during the checkout process input your preferred RAL colour number into a box marked "Additional information". You can also email us with the colour details.

Please not that order completion date may vary depending on the colour - production time may be longer if a non-standard colour is chosen.

Optional features

  Unless specified otherwise, postboxes are sent at random with or without the name display strip.

MIWI-URMET AUDIO DOOR ENTRY INTERCOM

SIGNO 1140/1 AUDIO HANDSET

Signo 1140/1 is a modern audio handset manufactured by Urmet.

Gloss white ABS casing.

The handset has one big door opener button and one button for an additional function e.g. opening a second gate. 

The Signo 1140/1 handset can also be equipped with two additional buttons and a call adjustmet kit (to adjust the intensity of the call ring tone) - to be bought separately.

INTERCOM AMPLIFIER WITH POWER SUPPLY

The 18A2 intercom main module combines an amplifier with a power supply. It can be mounted on a DIN rail (width = 6 DIN modules) or directly on the wall, with a special bracket that covers the terminal connectors.

Dimensions: 106 x 90 x 66 mm (without bracket), 110 x 130 x 66 mm (with bracket).
